Your Gym Ready overview

Six weeks, real skills
Your next step

Gym Ready is a practical, six-week coaching program for women who are new to strength training or finding their way back. Across six sessions in Steph’s private Springfield Lakes home studio, you’ll learn how to train and start making your own training decisions.

Your Everfit program shows your planned exercises, sets, reps and guidance, and lets you record your workouts. Your Gym Ready workbook is a place for the cues, questions and little wins you want to remember. Bring it along each week.

My goal is for you to know what to do when I’m not standing beside you.

Your six-week journey

One step at a time — a little more confidence each week

Follow the path from Week 1 to Week 6

  1. Week 1

    I Belong Here

Get comfortable in the studio, learn the gym basics and explore your starting point. There’s room for every question.

  2. Week 2

    Move With Confidence

Learn the five movement patterns: squat, hinge, push, pull and carry. Find the cues that make sense to you.

  3. Week 3

    Equipment Ready

Practise setting up equipment, choosing a starting weight and finding an alternative when the equipment you want is busy.

  4. Week 4

    Program Ready

Make sense of sets, reps, rest and effort. Learn when to keep a weight, adjust it or take the next step.

  5. Week 5

    Train Without Me

You take the lead in Steph’s studio: follow your program, set up and record your workout. Steph is there to observe and help when you need her.

  6. Week 6

    I’m Gym Ready

Put your skills together in an independent graduation session in the studio, with Steph available. Look back at your progress and plan your next steps.

Progress over perfection: We’ll compare where you started with how you feel in Week 6, then talk about the support and next steps that suit you.

The point of Gym Ready

You won’t just follow along.
You’ll understand what you’re doing.

Confusing machines. Worrying about technique. Not knowing which weight to pick. You don’t have to figure it all out alone. Gym Ready is about education and confidence — so you can take what you learn into your own training.

01

Learn the foundations

Squat, hinge and brace. Get familiar with the movement patterns that help you make sense of strength training.

02

Get to know the equipment

Learn how to set up equipment and use dumbbells and cables, with guidance on choosing weights and adjusting exercises.

03

Make sense of a workout

Understand how training fits together and how to progress. Build the confidence to make your next step your own.

Does this sound familiar?

“I’d love to start.
I just don’t know how.”

That’s enough of a starting point.

Gym Ready is for women new to strength training, women returning after time away, and women who want a bit more confidence before heading into a gym.

You don’t need experience. We’ll talk about where you’re at and whether the program is a good fit for you.

Good questions

A few things you might be wondering

Do I need to get fit first?

No. Learning how to train is the point. Tell me where you’re starting from and we’ll talk about what’s appropriate for you.

How long is Gym Ready?

Gym Ready runs over six weeks, with six sessions in Steph’s private home studio. Steph will confirm the next intake, session times, duration and price before you enrol.

How much does it cost?

Pricing is pending confirmation. Enquire for details before you commit. Sending an enquiry does not book or charge you for anything.

Do I have to join a commercial gym afterwards?

No. Independence is about having choices. We can talk about training on your own, continuing in the studio or using online programming.

Is there a workbook?

Yes. Your Gym Ready workbook helps you record your cues, questions, progress and next steps. Bring it to each session. You’ll also use Everfit to follow your program and record your workouts.

Will I train on my own in Weeks 5 and 6?

You’ll practise taking the lead in Steph’s home studio, with Steph available to observe and support you. It’s a chance to build independence, with someone there when you need a hand.

You are allowed to take up space.

We’re not shrinking women.
We’re building them up.
